Target market Strategy

The target market for our Phileas Fogg snack food is based toward the more adult snack food consumer. The target audience for this brand of snack food is focused toward the average bar attender.  The average person who goes to the bar would be a male from the age 21 and up. Most of these males go in pack or groups with their friends to relax and enjoy a couple of drinks. The phileas Fogg snack food brand recognizes that, and thus targets this audience to market the brand new line of snack foods. This brand gives those bar attendees the chance to share the many different amazing adventure stories of Phileas Fogg from his trips. Based off the huge film, Around the World in 80 Days, the stories and snacks capture the audience in the ambience and tales. Before producing the snack, it is very important to figure out who will be the ultimate target market for the product. Once you figure out who the target market is, it is the company’s job to come up with a catchy product to attract this market into buying and enjoying the snack. The company should fit this market of needs, or as the book states consumer what’s and demands. (Armstrong & Kotler (2011) Marketing: An Introduction) The company has a big role in following through with customer relationship management and making sure all of the facts and numbers are correct and accurate. The overall process of building and maintaining profitable customer relationships by delivering superior customer value and satisfaction should be one of the top priorities of the company. (Armstrong & Kotler (2011) Marketing: An Introduction) If the company Phileas Fogg snacks wants to make a profit in the business, they need to accurately understand who their market and potential customers are , and understand exactly what the consumer wants in a snack food at the bar.
